i dreamt of death
no more reading about japanese true-life accounts of the tokyo gas attack in 1995 before sleeping. it did two things to me:
- i jerked awake after 30 minutes of sleep - thought i heard someone in my room. the first image in my head was the subway incident. couldn't sleep till an hour later.
- i dreamt a lengthy dream, where i was responsible for a funeral of someone whom the media was interested in. everything went fine, till a day after his funeral, when his coffin (which was put on display so that the public can visit and mourn) started spewing a small stream of poisonous liquid (no it wasn't sarin). since i was responsible, i had to go take a look at it. a cab driver drove me to his coffin, and as we passed by, what we saw spooked us and we fled the scene. (i don't remember what we saw upon waking up)
i'm not really all that spooked out.... the book is interesting - i am not going to stop reading it. but i think this is a sign that i should read something lighter before i sleep.
