more flight cancellations
let this be a lesson for all - NEVER fly into nepal via Royal Nepal Air. expect a long report on that when i'm finally on malaysian soils.
first they cancelled wednesday's flight and rescheduled us two days later. now even that flight is cancelled..... but fret not - we are looking at other airlines and flying into bangkok or singapore, hopefully sometime this weekend...
anyway, despite the flight troubles, i've had the most awesome day ever. took off on my own and went temple hunting, contemplated mortality beside the bagmati rivers while witnessing the different stages of cremation. rubbed shoulders with more sadhus - the wondering holy men. got lost at noon looking for the infamous tibetan stupa (i am not dropping names - they will come later in my travelogue) resulting in an absolutely sunburnt me, had a great local dhaal bhaat lunch, watched how novice monks while their time away.
so yeah, this flight cancellation is probably not *that* bad...
off to bhaktapur durbar square tomorrow if i'm still here.

Ju, pls do not forget the necessary confirmations from the carrier... i.e. in the event if you chose to return with Air Nepal, when is the next available flight with date and time...
